Attendance Newsletter 2 – 21

Hello and welcome to our Attendance Newsletter No. 2.

As we come to the end of Term 1, it has been lovely to see so many children at school since 6th September 2021.  We would like to congratulate parents whose children have had 100% attendance this term and are benefiting fully from their educational opportunity.

YOU CAN HELP BY ENSURING YOUR CHILDREN ATTEND EVERY DAY ON TIME!

Important attendance and punctuality facts:

There are 194 school days this academic year, which leaves 171 days to spend on family time, appointments and other things.

For your child to gain the greatest benefit from education and to set good practices for their future working life, it is vital that they come to school regularly and on time.

School attendance is extremely important for life long success of pupils.  At Evergreen Primary Academy we understand that sometimes pupils are prone to illness; however we recommend that where possible, children still come to school.

There is a link between good school attendance and high level attainment.  If your child does not come to school, it will impact on their learning.  Parents/carers are legally responsible to ensuring their child comes to school on time every day.

Please do remember that we are here to help in any way we can.  If you have any concerns about your child and their attendance that you wish to discuss with the school, please contact me on 0117 377 3085 or email me at [email protected]
