Y5 Bristol Museum Trip

Dear Parents/Carers,

To support our historical understanding and deepen our learning within our wider curriculum topic of Ancient Egyptians, Year 5 are visiting Bristol Museum on Friday 24th June to undertake a workshop about Ancient Egyptian culture.

This exciting opportunity will include a workshop, access to the site and equipment and an Egyptian trail around the museum. The children will have the opportunity to experience the many exhibits within Bristol Museum. We will be walking to the Bristol Museum in the morning to enable us to keep the cost of the trip down. This means that the cost of the trip is kept to £5.90 per child (£5.30 for pupil premium children).

We will leave after registration at 9:00 am and return in time for the end of the school day. Children will need a packed lunch and a drink, please inform us if your child is eligible for free school meals and requires a packed lunch. Children will need to wear a waterproof coat, school uniform and sensible shoes.

Please return the permission slip to the office as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely,

Miss Dorse

Classteacher
