Evergreen Primary Academy is a school which prides itself on creating a strong culture of belonging with equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart. Children are celebrated for the individuals that they are and are nurtured as a whole child. At Evergreen, we understand the power of education and are proud of the engaging, progressive and challenging curriculum delivered to all our children. Children are taught explicitly how to be a good learner which allows them to be successful in all areas of the curriculum. Children at Evergreen understand and value the power of their voice; they are taught oracy skills and have opportunities to see how their voice can, and should, be heard both in the school community and beyond. Our Evergreen Experience Promise and Learning Beyond the Classroom Strategy ensures our children have the opportunities to engage in meaningful and rich learning experiences which promote the growth of children who will grow up to be active and responsible members of society.

The Evergreen community extends to our families and our local area. We actively support our families to ensure they have what they need to support their children. This includes support with school uniform, clothing, food, household furniture/appliances and housing. We have strong relationships with our local community including our relationship with our PSCO, local care home, religious organisations and community organisations. Being the Principal of Evergreen Primary Academy is a source of great pride and privilege to me and I warmly invite you to visit and experience our wonderful school.
