Pupils visit Bristol Zoo Project

Year 4 pupils from Evergreen Primary Academy explored the wonders of wildlife conservation as they embarked on a trip to Bristol Zoo Project.

Accompanied by their teachers, the pupils explored diverse habitats and fascinating inhabitants ranging from endangered species to exotic flora. The visit provided a hands-on opportunity for the young learners to deepen their understanding of wildlife conservation.

Bristol Zoo Project, formerly known as Wild Place Project, is a wildlife conservation park in North Bristol. It is run by Bristol Zoological Society and was the sister site of Bristol Zoo Gardens until closure of that site in 2022.

As school spokesperson said: “Our pupils had an amazing time and were truly inspired by everything they saw, despite the weather.”
