Evergreen pupils create stunning watercolour artwork

Pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy have been exploring the exciting effects of painting watercolours over chalk in their art lessons.
Inspired by the work of Kassou Seydou, the children enthusiastically experimented with different techniques, discovering how the two materials could be combined to create striking effects and unique, masterful pieces of artwork.
The pupils embraced the opportunity to explore their creativity, showing great curiosity and a willingness to try new ideas. Their efforts resulted in a fantastic collection of colourful, imaginative and individual pieces.
The activity provided pupils with an opportunity to develop their artistic skills, express their individuality and discover new ways of creating art, while celebrating the joy of experimentation and creative learning.
