Evergreen pupils showcase their musical creativity

Year 6 pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy have been developing their composing skills by experimenting with different notes to create long and short sounds on mini glockenspiels.

The children carefully composed their own musical pieces, thinking about rhythm, duration and how different sounds work together to create a complete composition.

They then confidently performed their original pieces to the rest of the class, showcasing their creativity, growing musical talents and confidence as young musicians.

A spokesperson for the academy said: “It has been wonderful to see our pupils exploring their musical creativity and developing their composing skills.

“They have shown great enthusiasm in experimenting with different sounds, creating their own compositions and performing them confidently to their classmates.

“We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the creativity they have demonstrated.

“Well done, Year 6, for your fantastic compositions and performances.”
