Pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy took the train to Temple Meads and loved every minute! They then chartered their own ferry boat to travel across the harbourside to the MV Balmoral where they completed an engineering challenge with real life engineers and learnt all about migration. Pupils also had the amazing experience of climbing up into the cranes on the harbourside and then driving them!

In the final Baking Club, pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy baked sprinkle crinkle biscuits. They had lots of fun and enjoyed learning about baking!

Wolf Brother Book Hunt

Pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy started learning about their new text, Wolf Brother by hunting for clues on this text in on our playing field and in the woods. It was lots of fun!

Year 5 pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy have been exploring tints, shades, hues and texture within their art learning this term. Here they are adding sand to the paint to create the texture for their beach! Well done to pupils for managing their excitement and using their emerald power to manage this.

In real PE this term, year 5 pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy are looking at developing their social and communication skills. They used different PE equipment which made them think about their balance. Pupils will be working on their ability to balance along a line and balance with a partner!

South Africa

Year 5 pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy have started this term exploring South African painting. They are reading the story ‘Journey to Jo’burg’ this term and pupils were thinking about the colours that children may see on houses and murals on their journey to Jo’hannesburg.

Trip to the farm

Year 4 pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy went on a trip to City Farm to build dens and look after the animals. Great fun was had by all!

Health & Safety Committee

Pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy recently held their own Health & Safety meeting. On the agenda was a survey about the large hall and pupils practiced role playing a Health & Safety officer and the scenarios he/she might look at as part of their role.
