Pupils enjoy a fantastic music lesson

Year 3 pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy were delighted to enjoy an amazing music lesson with Nonny.

Nonny Tabbush is an experienced folk singer, violinist, and choral practitioner based in the Bristol area who teaches song, choir, percussion and violin.

Pupils had the opportunity to play a variety of percussion instruments, including drums, bells and the wooden agogo. The session was a wonderful opportunity for the children to explore different sounds, develop their musical skills and enjoy making music together.

Everyone showed fantastic respect, enthusiasm and care when using the instruments. Pupils listened carefully throughout the session and demonstrated excellent behaviour and engagement.

A spokesperson for the academy said: “It was wonderful to see our pupils so engaged and enthusiastic during their music lesson with Nonny.

“They showed great respect and care when handling the instruments, while also having lots of fun exploring music. We are incredibly proud of the way they conducted themselves throughout the session.”
