Pupils visit care home
Some of our Pupil Academy Council representatives visited Lincoln Gardens Care Home on Thursday to meet the residents for the first time. The children talked about themselves and found out information about the residents.
One Good Turn is an intergenerational linking project with a difference – creating friendships across the generations, empowering young and older people to work together to have a positive impact on their environment or their community.
The children really enjoyed their visit. It was a good opportunity for them to get to know some of the residents of the care home.
