Spooky stories inspire young writers at Evergreen

Staff and pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy were thrilled to welcome the brilliant children’s author Ruth Quayle to the school.
Ruth brought her spooky storytelling magic to life with creative writing workshops for Years 3 to 6, inspiring our young writers to let their imaginations run wild.
She also delighted Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils with a special story time session full of giggles, gasps, and wide-eyed wonder.
A spokesperson for Evergreen Primary Academy said: “Ruth’s visit was an absolute treat for our pupils.
“Her stories captured their imaginations and reminded us all of the joy that comes from reading and creating our own tales.
“A huge thank you to Ruth for sparking creativity and a love of reading across the school. What a fantastic way to celebrate the spooky season. It’s been a truly magical day for everyone involved.”
