Evergreen Primary Academy Pupils Take Part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch

Pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy have been getting closer to nature by participating in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, a nationwide initiative to monitor bird populations and promote awareness of wildlife.

Pupils spent time outdoors, eagerly observing and identifying various bird species in the school grounds.

With clipboards and recording sheets in hand, they carefully noted down the birds they spotted before submitting their results to the RSPB website.

The event was not only an opportunity to enjoy the natural world but also a chance for pupils to contribute to a significant science project.

A spokesperson from Evergreen Primary Academy said: “We are thrilled to see our pupils so engaged with the natural environment.

“The Big Garden Birdwatch is a fantastic way to inspire young minds to care about wildlife and develop an interest in conservation.

“It’s wonderful to know they’re contributing to a project that helps protect birds for future generations.”
