Evergreen Primary Academy welcomes Earthwatch Europe

Evergreen Primary Academy was honoured to host a visit from a dedicated team from Earthwatch Europe, a renowned organisation committed to connecting people with nature and empowering them to advocate for our planet’s well-being.

Earthwatch Europe engages people with the natural world and gives them the tools they need to fight for environmental wellbeing. They support communities and organisations to build knowledge, create connections and motivate action.

During the visit, Evergreen pupils participated in a project aimed at transforming one of their outdoor areas into a sustainable living space. Through hands-on activities, they explored concepts such as living walls, wildlife habitats, and innovative design ideas to promote sustainability.

Pupils worked together to support citizens from all classes to input their ideas, thoughts, and creations.

Excitingly, Earthwatch Europe has pledged to return to Evergreen Primary Academy to help bring the pupils’ designs to life.
