Evergreen pupils celebrate Earth Day with inspiring trip to Sparks

Year 4 pupils from Evergreen Primary Academy enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to Sparks to celebrate Earth Day, engaging in a range of hands-on activities focused on environmental awareness and action.

During the visit, pupils explored a variety of interactive workstations centered around the theme of fresh water and environmental care.

At the Clothes Station, they discovered how making thoughtful clothing choices can help reduce waste and protect the planet.

Using Lego, pupils also built imaginative models to demonstrate ways to conserve water and keep our environment clean.

A highlight of the day was a special visit from the Mayor, who spoke to pupils about the importance of looking after their local community and protecting the environment for future generations.

A school spokesperson said: “It was a fun and inspiring day filled with learning and action.”
