Pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy turn into evolutionary scientists

Evergreen Primary Academy’s Year 6 pupils recently embarked on an exciting scientific adventure, transforming into budding evolutionary scientists.

As part of their studies, the pupils explored the fascinating world of fossils, learning about their importance in understanding the history of life on Earth.

The hands-on project allowed the pupils to dive deep into the past, discovering why fossils matter in the study of evolution and natural history.

To bring their learning to life, pupils used salt dough to create detailed fossil patterns, mimicking the shapes and textures of ancient organisms.
