Y2 & Y5 Trip – The Wild Place

Dear Parents/Carers,

To support our scientific understanding and deepen our learning within our wider curriculum learning of Life Cycles and Living Things, Year 2 and Year 5 are visiting The Wild Place project on Friday 19th November.

The cost of this trip will be £8.30 (£7.50 for children entitled to pupil premium). All payments must be made by Friday 12th November. If you think you may have difficulty paying the cost of this trip, please speak to the class teacher by Monday 8th November.

The children will have the opportunity to walk around the Wild Place, seeing different animals in their habitats and interact with displays there.

We will leave after registration at 9:30 am and return in time for the end of the school day.

Children in Year 5 will need to bring a packed lunch and a drink. Please inform us if your child is eligible for free school meals and requires a packed lunch by ticking the slip below. Children in Year 2 will have lunch provided by the school.

Due to the time of the year, children will need to be wearing a waterproof coat, sensible shoes and a jumper to keep warm.

Please return the permission slip and payment to the office by Thursday 11th November.
