Year 5 trip – Roman Baths
Dear Parents,
We are excited to inform you that Year 5 will be going on a trip to the Roman Baths! Here are the details:
Date: Tuesday 26th November 2024.
Cost: £7 per child
Departure Time: We will leave school at 8:50 a.m. to catch the 9:09 train.
Return: We will be back before the end of the school day.
What to bring:
– Children should wear their school uniform.
– Children should bring a coat.
– Please ensure your child arrives on time.
– Packed lunch and a water bottle
Please return this form to the office by Wednesday 20th November.
At the Roman Baths, children will learn about life in Roman times. They can dress up as Romans, handle 2,000-year-old artefacts, and make mosaics. They’ll also explore the Investigation Zone, where they can dig in an archaeological trench, rebuild Roman buildings, and use technology to learn more.
