Pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy have completed another activity this term – planting their virtual chilli seeds – and their tree is beginning to grow! Pupils will continue to complete activities for their tree to grow even bigger! They have now completed 3 activities. When pupils have completed all 8 activities, they can unlock a special badge!
UK Parliament Week (UKPW) is an annual event, spreading the word about what Parliament is, what it does and how pupils can get involved.
EID Learning Afternoon
Y6 pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy took part in an EID learning afternoon where they enjoyed making EID lanterns.
EID party celebrations
On Friday 6th May Evergreen Primary Academy held their Eid Party where they came together as a community. There was lots of music, games and delicious food contributed by our parents. Everyone absolutely loved the celebrations and thoroughly enjoyed sharing food. It was fantastic to see so many children and parents at the event.

We are readers everywhere in Year 5 at Evergreen Primary Academy! Pupils took part in a reading session outside this week to prove that reading can happen both inside the classroom and outside.
We are Mathematicians
Year 5 pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy have been learning how to use a protractor in their maths learning. They have been working in talking groups to discuss maths. There has been some amazing maths debate happening within the groups.
Year 1 Trip to Eastville Park
Year 1 pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy took a trip to Eastville Park. They toured around the grounds, visited the lake and had a go on the swings!
We are readers
Year 1 pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy explored our class story ‘Journey’ and created their own magical red doors. They had lots of fun and showed off their Grit, Sapphire and Topaz powers.
We are Geographers
Year 5 Geographers at Evergreen Primary Academy used their locational knowledge to direct themselves around Narroways. Pupils used a printed map, compass and their own observation skills to identify where they were in relation to their own school. They drew the key landmarks to support them with this skill.
We are gardeners
Pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy followed instructions to plant sunflowers.
