Evergreen Primary Academy pupils visit Ashton Gate stadium

Year 5 pupils from Evergreen Primary Academy recently enjoyed an unforgettable visit to Ashton Gate stadium, home of Bristol City (men’s and women’s football teams) and the Bristol Bears rugby team.

The exciting day kicked off with a PE lesson, and then pupils participated in a thrilling game of dodgeball.

Following this, the group was treated to an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the iconic stadium.

Pupils even had the rare opportunity to walk on the pitch and visit the players’ preparation area, offering them a unique insight into the world of professional sports.

The visit concluded with a special session focused on the inspiring career of England international footballer, Demi Stokes. Pupils learned about her achievements and the hard work that goes into representing your country on the world stage.

A spokesperson said: “It was a day full of fun, learning, and inspiration – an experience the pupils will remember for years to come.”
