Reception pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy celebrate autumn
Reception pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy recently went outdoors to embrace the beauty of autumn.
Armed with sketch pads and pencils, they ventured to the school field to engage in observational drawing, focusing on one of the magnificent trees in full autumnal colour.
Pupils carefully studied the colourful leaves, intricate twigs, and the tree’s overall form, translating their observations into stunning works of art.
After their art session, pupils continued to enjoy their time outdoors, exploring the field and playing with fallen leaves.
The combination of creativity and play made for a truly enriching and memorable day.
A spokesperson for Evergreen Primary Academy said: “It’s wonderful to see our Reception pupils so engaged with nature and the changing seasons.
“This hands-on experience not only inspired their creativity but also encouraged them to appreciate the beauty of the world around them.
“The artwork they produced is simply fantastic, and it’s a delight to watch their imaginations grow.”
