The Pupil Academy Council from Evergreen Primary Academy visited Lincoln Gardens Care home again recently. Pupils spent time chatting to residents and drawing, a great time was had by all!

Refugee Week

Thursday 22nd June
Evergreen Primary Academy Citizens took part in the first ever Refugee Week assembly with thousands of other children around the country and around the world! Refugee Week is the world’s largest arts & culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary.

Year 5 Citizens visited Bristol museum with Greenie!

Wednesday 24th May
Year 5 Citizens from Evergreen Primary Academy visited Bristol museum with Greenie! They explored the museum, and got awarded for catching the train. Pupils asked amazing questions and they became Egyptologists!

Police sniffer dog visit

Friday 19th May
Year 5 Citizen’s at Evergreen Primary Academy took part in their last mini police celebration. We were visited by Dax, the Police sniffer dog, and Lee, who explained their role in the police. The pupils asked amazing questions and were respectful of others.

Pupils were archaeologists

Thursday 11th May
Pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy were archaeologists! They uncovered artefacts from the past and predicted who they thought used them, what they were and when they were used. Pupils found out they were from the Maya civilisation. Fantastic questioning and inferring from pupils!

We have a school dog!

Pupils, at Evergreen Primary Academy voted on whether to have Mrs Coote’s dog in school more often. It was an overwhelming yes, so here he is on his induction day.
