Year 5 Evergreen Primary Academy Citizens helped tidy their local community in their role as mini police by litter picking.

Year 5 Citizens at Evergreen Primary Academy interviewed a Council worker who works as apart of the nature conservation team! We learnt lots about what our councils are doing to improve our nature, environment and planet!

As part of the Mini Police programme, Year 5 Evergreen Primary Academy citizens were fortunate enough to visit Trinity road police station! They visited the police cells, had a look at a police van and spoke with Police Officer Tom.

Year 1 and 2 pupils from Evergreen Primary Academy had a fantastic trip to Clifton Suspension Bridge. Pupils were given a talk where found out that Clifton Suspension Bridge spans the Avon Gorge and is one of the world’s greatest bridges. It was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel who

Year 5 Evergreen Primary Academy Citizens will be working with our local PCSO for the next 9 weeks as ‘mini police’. They will learn about how the police work in our community.

Evergreen Academy  citizens were visited by Corey Samuels who plays for Bristol Flyers. He spoke about motivation, teamwork, perseverance and commitment. We were gifted a basketball signed by the team.

Evergreen Primary Academy were lucky enough to have Empire Fighting Chance visit us this morning to explain what they do in our local community. They support children and adults mental health and well being.

Year 6 citizens, from Evergreen Primary Academy took part in a wonderful art and music project with Bristol Beacon at Junction 3. Pupils created their own birds and wrote and performed their own song.
